We are excited to have Frank Bibb and Bill Steiner from the Coosa Valley RDC join us for our General Membership meeting on February 4th. Mr. Bibb will provide a brief summary on the new Neighborhood Stabilization Program that was created as part of the Housing Recovery Act of 2008. The purpose of this program is to buy foreclosed houses, make the necessary repairs and re-sell them. We understand the program is being fast-tracked and that Paulding County is expected to receive $2,500,000. This fund will be ongoing as the proceeds of the sales of the repaired homes will be returned to the program allowing additional homes to be purchased. Please join us to get all the details!
