SPECIAL CALLED HBAG BOARD MEETING - April 8, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center, Salon I Room, just west of I-85 on Camp Creek Parkway (2000 Convention Ct Concourse, College Park). Special guest will be Georgia's Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John Oxendine. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss current issues impacting the industry. Please let Kelly know by April 6th if you will be in attendance at klass@hbag.org. The meeting is open to all HBAG members and Georgia Executive Officers; please plan on attending if you're interested in current happenings! For more information contact mistered@hbag.org.

Hill visits during NAHB Spring Board Meeting - Do to current budget restrictions, HBAG will be represented by Tim Williams and no one else. With that in mind, those of you planning on making Hill visits to your Congressman or Senators should plan on scheduling your own appointments this year. J.P. Savannah Parade of Homes - HBA of Greater Savannah is looking for a few good judges!!! Judging will take place on Thursday, April 17th. Judges will need to be at the association's office by 8:30 a.m. for a SUPERB, shrimp & grits breakfast to start the day! Sole Proprietor to Qualifying Agent - During the 2007 Session HBAG was successful in getting some changes to the licensure law regarding ease of portability for going from a sole proprietor to a qualifying agent and/or applying for licensure for multiple entities once approval was received.
