Contour Development Gives the Paulding County School Board a $92,000 Donation

Mickey Womble and Mark Taglieber presented a check to Commission Chairman, Jerry Shearin, at the Thursday, November 30th Commissioners meeting in the amount of $ 92,000 which will be forwarded to the Paulding County Board of Education. As Mickey Womble, of Contour Development, explained during the meeting, a group of individuals from the Builders Association met with the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Education to come up with a voluntary donation. This effort resulted in a voluntary donation of $500 per platted lot in newly zoned PRD developments to assist the school system where needed. Palisades, the first development to offer and make the donation, was zoned in March of 2004, and it took 1 year and 9 months to reach the final plat phase to make this donation possible. Thank you to Contour Development for their donation to the Paulding County School System.
